hello board ok getting to grips with my abl bassline which im loving i have never used a 303 or any other emulator so i will probably sound dumb, im aware you can program on the bassline or using a midi controller, i make jackin house around 130bpm when i try to program the pattern on the bassline it plays quite fast its the correct tempo but i want to get it sounding like this www.inputrecords.co.uk/sounds/mixes/swag.mp3 its a swag tune have they used a keyboard to play this in or have they programmed it?? i want to be able to program on the unit to use the slides etc

ok thanks for the reply, what do all the columns stand for i persume slide etc but in what order + when it says c#3 what does that mean, select note c i understand but whats the#3

Save each in a text file with the .pat extention and you can load them into the sequencer of the ABL.

| ah ok yeah thats what im lookin to get pattern wise does it just take quite alot of practise to know how to do what you want, looks like the slide joins two of the same note together ? and also the time node button was used alot |

I guess Tristos means, that if you have two similar short notes, to use the slide option to create one longer note instead?
