I think it would be great if the step sequencer in the pattern mode showed all steps, instead of one step at a time(see Rob Papen's Predator arpeggiator, or u-he's Zebra's arpeggiator layout)
Though it is nice to see what note is playing on a keyboard per step, it is much more useful to see the whole pattern at one time because then the pattern is laid out for the user and appropriate edits can be made quickly and you can hear them, it makes editing rhythm much much easier. |

As the pattern progresses I think it would be great if the the LED's were brighter so you can clearly see which step the sequencer is in and it gives the user a better sense of motion in the pattern
