| Cervus, part of the problem with tapping play to sync is the latency in the touch screen gui plus the latency in the audio stream. It takes about 100ms to respond, so in order to tap sync with an external beat you'de have to tap 100 ms before the next downbeat. It might be easier to try to sync your external beat to technoBox, as your computer might have less latency. |

Hey Guys...
How come no one have posted their review of TechnoBox on iTunes App store yet..? (how very disappointing)
It (positive reviews) will definitely help Audiorealism to get the resources needed for further development of TechnoBox - more downloads = $ = development resources and improved/better TechnoBox. _________________ Al iMac 2.4GHz 4GB RAM, OS X.6.1, Apogee Duet, Novation Remote 37SL, Cubase Studio 5, Ableton Live 8, Reason 4, Record, various VST's, AU's and hardware synths, etc; |

Great application, and a lot of fun on the iPhone!
For me as a "serious" musician the most important thing about music apps on the iPhone is how they integrate with the Mac. The best integration found at the moment is iDrum, where you can easily swap samples, kits and patterns between the iPhone and the AU/VST in both directions.
Would be great if it was possible with technoBox, too, to use the patterns created on the iPhone with ABL2, ABL Pro (for me the one!) and ADM.
Another nice thing with technoBox would be a recording function. And I don't mean audio recording (though that would be nice as well), but kind of automation recording (not necessarily editable), which tracks not only the realtime pattern/songposition selection, but also all the knob movements.
And then if you find a way to convert that into host automation or MIDI controller data for ABL2 and ABL Pro, that can be exported to the Mac, I would be in heaven!

Correct!
The other shift functions are:
Shift + > (next step) = Shift pattern right
Shift + < (prev step) = Shift pattern left
Shift + C,D,D#,.. = Transpose pattern
Shift + Clear = Clears a pattern with all notes off

And [Shift + Down = Alter pattern], as far as I can see.
Any other hidden functions? |

i totally agree with mr wrackler:-)
yes, it`s the best 303 emu in the app-store but it would be great to edit pattern length.
cheers and good on you! |

Great app! I've been having a huge amount of fun using it... I can only imagine what it would have been like to see this 15 years ago. To top it off it's just a few bucks... amazing! _________________ 303_Nation

| The 303 can do a pattern length of 1-64 steps. |

| Looks like somebody is riding the Technobox wave. An iPad app got released named "Technobox 303". I wonder where they got that name from.. |

Yes. We asked them to change name and they agreed, so hopefully app store will see the changes within reasonable time.

Another one, too, called "TechnoBox Acid". |
