|
|
Hi Mike,
Specs:
MacPro 2008 Intel 8 core
OSX Leopard 10.5.4
Ableton Live 6.0.10
ABL2 2.10R
In VST ABL2 crashes ableton when enabling midi output
Reproducible everytime
Just tested the AU version (a suggestion from Ableton tech support, which for some reason I didn't think about) and it works like a charm |

Hm. I'm having the same problem as soon as I do the Randomize All. You say the AU version doesn't have this problem? But I thought the AU cannot output MIDI - or am I wrong here? _________________ Macbook, 4GB RAM, 500 HD, Snow Leopold and Alesis Multimix 8 Firewire sound card/mixer. |

| The AU version can output midi, however we've always said from the start that AU output is kind of an unsupported feature because it wasn't really supported on the Mac to create a midi device on the fly. But as far as I know it should work in later versions of logic. |

Man, you're quick. I just sent you a mail about this.
Yeah - I tried with the AU version - but I don't get individual notes - just the note from my trigger clip. What am I doin rong? _________________ Macbook, 4GB RAM, 500 HD, Snow Leopold and Alesis Multimix 8 Firewire sound card/mixer. |
