i hate phones. have a crappy really old phone. but im half tempted to get one for this, sounds excellent from the youtube clips.

Oh right, it's also a phone... I keep forgetting that. I'm rather viewing (and enjoying!) it as a mobile computing device with very decent media and networking functions. You can also go for the Touch, of course, so your mom won't be calling you in the middle of a live act.
(note: the old ones have no inbuilt speaker; the 2nd gen. ones are trickier to jailbreak, but do have ~1.5 more effective CPU etc.)
Consider that it's also an excellent controller for your DAW with it's accelerometer, multi-touchscreen and free controller apps like Mrmr and iXY. That should make for about another half of temptation imho.
The sound really is excellent. In fact (disregarding sound card D/A issues, on which AudioRealism software has no influence of course), the tB bassline even sounds slightly /better/ than the ABL2. And cheaper too! Isn't it amazing??
