Is it me or is there no note for an accented 909 open hat in note mode ?

I've checked the manual, seems not to have one assigned ?

Is this an omission or a purposefully done thing ?

Does a real 909 just scale the volume or something ?

Cheers

Very Happy

Correct, there is no accented Open Hihat trigger. Or actually it is always accented by default.

ADM can be set to scale any of the instruments' volume with midi velocity though.

Yes thats what im doing, using the full velocity scale.

Not a problem, just interested.

Is a for example accented closed hat actually different to a normal hat (outside of the volume ?)

No, they are simple volume scalings. There might be some transistor distortion effects if the TR-909 is at max volume, but ADM can mimic that when the output clipper is on.
